Stop and smell the roses on the garden patio or soak up some sun and finish that good book you started upstairs. Take a walk through the flowers, and you just might see me pulling a few weeds. Enjoy a tall glass of lemonade sitting on the yard swing. Be adventurous and explore the 80 acre homeplace. You may want to start by picking your own juicy tomato from the vegetable garden. The chickens are close by and you could gather eggs for your country breakfast. Take a walk out to the "white barn" and see the sheep grazing or the baby lambs romping. There are usually herds of cattle not to far off to watch. Or maybe you want to wander through the nearby woods. In the evenings you can sit around the fire pit and enjoy gazing at the stars. Other seasonal activities will be offered, such as hay rides and bonfires in the fall and fireworks in the summer.
